The beautiful stretch of sand is one of the most prized amenities, where members often find themselves one of few people on the beach. Here they not only can relax or go for a swim; they also can appreciate nature – watching skittering sandpipers or hunting for the perfect shell.

Famous for its natural habitats for sea turtles, Vero’s beaches are nesting sites for many of the world’s sea turtles. Beginning in March, the beaches are protected so turtles can swim ashore to lay eggs, and then return to the Atlantic; the babies hatch two months later. Those at Sea Oaks during the summer months witness this wondrous annual event.
