Joe Biedenharn, Director of Tennis Joe grew up in Ft. Pierce, Florida. His tennis career started early as his father was an excellent player and got Joe on the courts as a young child. He played collegiate tennis for East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, as well as at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. After graduating, Joe got into teaching and has not looked back. He worked at Sea Oaks in the late 1990s before moving on to The Boulevard Tennis Club. Most recently, Joe worked as the Head Professional at John’s Island Club starting in 2008 before joining Sea Oaks in January 2021.
Joe and his father Jack have had some success in Father-Son doubles. In 1991, they won the Florida State Closed Father-Son title and have competed in six National Senior Father-Son finals. Joe also won the local King of the Hill Open Division title in 2004 and the 50-and over Division of the same tournament in 2018.
Joe and his wife of 29 years, Debbie (who recently retired from work in the Sea Oaks Pro Shop), are parents of two daughters. The elder, Zan, is a graduate of Virginia Tech and currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. Daughter Eliza is a junior at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
Michele spent her early years on Long Island, NY, before moving on to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, where she received a BA in Economics and Communications. After moving to Vero Beach in 2006, she became very involved with the tennis community, holding positions at John’s Island Club, Orchid Island Tennis & Fitness Center and Riverside Racquet Complex. Michele became Sea Oaks Pro Shop Manager in 2020.
Christian grew up in Madison WI and attended Concordia University in WI. In college, Christian played 1 singles and 1 doubles and made 1st team all-conference.
He loves music, fishing, and good food and enjoys playing platform tennis. Christian comes to us from Bishops Bay Country Club in Madison WI. Please welcome Christian as a new member of our Sea Oaks Tennis Family.

Billy started playing tennis at the age of 5 in Puerto Rico. After moving to the states, Billy played junior tennis in Atlanta, achieving a national ranking, and followed that up by playing for Queens College where his NCAA ranking was #9 in doubles. And most recently in 2021, Billy and his wife Veronika, achieved the #1 USTA national ranking in the Husband/Wife doubles category. Before coming to Sea Oaks, Billy was previously the head coach of the Vero Beach High School Tennis Team, the Head Pro at Grand Harbor and the Tennis Director at Aquarina Tennis Club. Billy has two beautiful children, Alejandro and Gabriela.
